Laboratory certifications

• MAZ raised the Estimated Cetane Number (ECN) of RMK700 heavy fuel oil fuel from 24.8% - 27.5% in tests. In addition it is MAZ's ability to reduce the combustion and after burn periods, raise the maximum rate of heat release while reducing the time for maximum heat release, and deliver earlier combustion with its associated thermal efficiency benefits that completes combustion and raises energy extraction efficiency.

• A Cummins V Diesel engine test was run by the famous Millbrook Proving Ground (UK) for the London Transit Authority.
• Testing was carried out in 4 conditions, to investigate the effect of Maz on vehicle emissions and fuel consumption performance over the Millbrook London Transport Buses (MLTB) drive cycle within Millbrook’s Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber (VTEC). During testing within the VTEC, emissions of Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) were measured. From these pollutants fuel consumption was calculated using the carbon balance method. Particulate Matter (PM) was measured gravimetrically.
