Millbrook Proving Ground (Oxfordshire, UK) certification
- A Cummins V Diesel engine test was run by the famous Millbrook Proving Ground (UK) for the London Transit Authority.
- Testing was carried out in 4 conditions, to investigate the effect of Maz on vehicle emissions and fuel consumption performance over the Millbrook London Transport Buses (MLTB) drive cycle within Millbrookâs Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber (VTEC). During testing within the VTEC, emissions of Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), Oxides of Nitrogen (NOx), and Carbon Dioxide (CO2) were measured. From these pollutants fuel consumption was calculated using the carbon balance method. Particulate Matter (PM) was measured gravimetrically.
